WOW! House 2025

Tomef has collaborated with three of Italy’s leading heritage design brans, Fortuny, Bonacina and Barovier & Toso, to create the Primary Bedroom at WOW!House 2025, inspired by the classic elegance of Venice, the epitome of Italian craftsmanship excellence.

The design transports the visitor to an imagined Venetian hotel suite, where traditions and heritage have been interpreted with a modern eye, a careful balance that typifies a Tomèf project. Layer upon layer of detail, colour, pattern and texture combine in a deep and warm palette of burgundy and ruby with gold, amber, brown, black and greens. At the forefront of the rooms lies the refined materials and the evident skill of the artisans that have carefully crafted every handmade item within its walls.

Beginning the design with a soft division of the space achieved through a sweeping swathe of double-sided Fortuny drapery, Tomèf has created an opulent living area to be enjoyed during the day and a luxurious bedroom for night.

The bespoke “Tiara” bed designed by Tomèf embodies the creative collaboration, and serves as the centrepiece of the room. It is the one element that combines the three brands together in one new original object. The rattan frame, handcrafted by Bonacina, incorporates a bespoke valance manufactured by Phelippeau Paris to recall the shape of the headboard and the venetian portals. Gold-hued hand printed fabric by Fortuny upholsters the headboard, with a drop-shaped Murano glass jewel by Barovier & Toso sits at its pinnacle, adding the finishing touch.
